James Apay: Newly Appointed Bieh state education minister take oath

May 17, 2016 (SSB) — The newly appointed minister for education and social welfare in Bieh state government Hon. James Apay Ochalla has been sworn into office.
In his remarks during the ceremony, Apai described education as “the backbone of Bieh state” and he look forward to change the education system in Akobo, Waat, Nyirol and Uror counties of Bieh state.
Apai encourage the children of Bieh state in Malakal and Jonglei states to spear head peace and reconciliation program to stabilize their children from acquiring better education.
Hon. Ochalla calls on the humanitarian community to rehabilitate and construct of schools. He said the citizen of the area have not gone to class for the last three years of conflict.
Apai applauded the president of republic of south Sudan for creating 28 states. He urged the entire population if the area to rally behind the president in the implementation f the decree.
Hon. Apai Ochalla was the former chairperson of peace commission in Jonglei state before it was disintegrated into four states by October decree.
