My God and My Country you gave us everything all round
May 19, 2016 (SSB) — When we see East, West, South and North that fertile land had never been scratched even by our single fingers , As it rains we shelter under verandahs and play dominos and cards waiting for your heavenly sent manna like the children of Israel in the wilderness.
My God and My country you gave us everything without discrimination
Tall or short, male or female, poor or rich, pagan or believer, they leaders or the lead equally and generously you gave us the brains and hands for the purpose of productivity,
But we have use them for unproductive activities such as killing, stealing, hurting, ill planning, gossiping ,Chatting and so on as we are a wait for your divine intervention of readjusting our brains and hands for productive activities.
My God and My country you gave us everything but not what we lack
We lack harmony and togetherness give us, we lack patriotism give us, we lack wisdom give us, we lack independence by relying on foreign aids, foods and produces give us
Give us, Give us, Give us what we lack such that we realizes our home grown solutions as the way forward, we had been and still praying, crying, yelling and mourning day and night, pleading every nation, well-wishers for solutions, for peace, for healthy living, for pipe water from the river nile, for harmony, for hydroelectricity from Fulla, for hunger, for economic hardships, for good leadership, for, for, for, for……..alas!, we realized you have given us everything we need in South Sudan, just click that button of memory and we would kick off vigorously.
