South Sudanese communities describes H.E James Wani Igga as the icon of peace

June 20, 2016 (SSB) — South Sudanese communities in Ethiopia describe H.E James Wani Igga the Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan as the icon of peace and reconciliation in the Republic of South Sudan.
This statement was issued by South Sudanese during the public briefing to South Sudanese communities that was organized by the embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in Ethiopia on the peace and reconciliation process under the theme: “together we can build a strong south Sudan”.
South Sudanese were very happy with the visit of H.E James Wani Igga and his massage of peace, unity and reconciliation to them because it means that the government is committed to the implementation of peace agreement that is why H.E the Vice President has visited them in Ethiopia.
South Sudanese in Ethiopia declared to support peace, reconciliation and forgiveness in South Sudan. They also declared their readiness to return to south Sudan and start the process of resettlement, rehabilitation and reconstruction in south Sudan.
H.E the Vice President assured the south Sudanese communities of the commitment of the government to stabilize security, economy and humanitarian situation of the people of south Sudan.
H.E James Wani Igga the Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan asked all south Sudanese communities to fight tribalism and all kinds of discrimination and unite as the people of the Republic of South Sudan. He also urge the people of south Sudan to put the interest of south Sudan above their personal interests. The people of south Sudan must reconcile and forgive each other in order to live together as one people and one nation said H.E the Vice President.
