Gov't reject more troops in South Sudan
IGAD Communique calls upon UN to upgrade UNMISS as a protection force to pacify Juba

July 20, 2016 (SSB) — Obviously, South Sudan is currently faced with violence that has destroyed lots of life and properties and the civic populations are completely devastated and left without other option then seeking refuge in churches across the capital but to my dismay instead of bringing the humanitarian assistance, the United nations secretary renewed the call of arms embargo and sanctions again, the same call that was rejected last year by china, Russia and some African countries.

On the other hand, the security council imposed  sanctions against  some of the army commanders which appeared to us the civilians to be a kind of regime change target  plan and it was really shown at the speed  at which the secretary General and the security council response by renewing the call of sanctions and embargo raises suspicious.

Furthermore, the UN forces in South Sudan are not exactly keeping to the principle of the resolution of keeping peace in order to avoid escalation of violence, confrontation and bloodshed.

South Sudan’s crisis is not the worst one in the world compared to Somalia, why didn’t the UN forces sort out the mess in Syria, Yemen among others the way they wanted to do it in South Sudan?

Being an African problem, the Security Council should give African Union and IGAD an opportunity to talk to the South Sudanese leaders like the way it was done by IGAD in Addis Ababa on 17 August 2015 then just renewing a call for the arms embargo sanctions.

The fact is, the world is witnessing the inception, invasion and occupation of south Sudan for her crude oil and forcing a regime change in south Sudan should be purely domestic affair and through ballots and invasion and occupation by external forces to cause a regime change under the guise of protecting civilians is a false pretense and this may even cause a more dangerous and terrible precedent and seriously set a slippery slope for south Sudan then even before.

President Salva Kiir is just repelling rebels from over throwing his government ,an act that any leader in the world today would do and that should not be used by UN to bring in more forces and call for sanctions unless there is a hidden agenda.
