Over 600 candidates sit for Bor County Mock Examinations

August 22, 2016 (SSB) — More than 600 candidates in Bor County sit for Bor county mock examination in five centers Monday.
The number of candidates sitting for exams this year across five centers of Bor A, Bor Public, Baidit and Lualdit Primary schools amplified from 470 as of last year to 649 and out of this figure girls are 135 with boys tallying 514. This year, 23 schools emerged with candidates compared to 13 schools of 2015.
The examination that will run for 3 days is meant to prepare, measure the performance and challenge students’ capacity of understanding including teachers’s teaching methodology according to Bor County deputy director Mr. Gabriel Panchol Anyang
Meanwhile the acting director General of Jonglei state ministry of education and social welfare Mr. Achuoth Garang Bul thought the examination has been unified for Bor, Duk and Twic East counties he supplement that the students at Bor Protection of civilians site POC did not acquire the exams for reasons not known to the education authorities.
The Chief Invigilator and senior inspector for budgeting, planning and NGO coordination Mr. Malueth John Aluong assures the media of the tight security of the examination provided by Jonglei state government.
“The examination is well secure and the state government has provided police officers to the examination centers,” Malueth said.
He conclusively said the examination was set at East African standard and transported to the centers by education partners such as food for the hungry.
