South Sudan: Why regime change is a must for the USA and the UN

September 6, 2016 (SSB) — South Sudanese must be aware of the Bible prophesy in the Book of Revelation 17: 9 – 13; it reads “9 Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And he when it comes, he must continue a short time. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition. 12
And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdoms as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 They are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.” See also the Book Daniel 2: 24 – 45 entails the same chronology of Kingdom ship.
The purpose of writing this Biblical prophecy is to enlighten South Sudanese about how the world political and religious affairs had been revolving since the time of the first recorded Babylonian Kingdom of King Nebuchadnezzar. These are prophetic meanings of some words used in the Bible:
Beast – World authority either political or religious
Woman – church
Seven – means something that is complete or wholly
Heads – Kings or Kingdoms
Horns – Regional authorities or association e.g. EAC, IGAD, SADC, ECOWAS, Arab League etc
Ten – World divisions
Therefore, let me get into the tenet of details for all the above, this World is being control by major world powers since time immemorial and the prophecy mentioned was given to John on Patmos island in Cyprus. John was shown this thing by an angel that had plagues and time was believed to be 98 A.D. He said that his taken into the wilderness by an Angel of the Lord, this means 1798 the year in which the United States of America formulated their Constitution. This timing is very important as to get the messages. What does John see? John saw a woman and she is riding a savage beast which represents world governments and powers which persecute the weak.
My focus is not the woman but the beast which is a political power or authority shaping the world order. John was shown that this political power will use earthly governments (Regional powers like IGAD, ECOWAS, SADC, EAC etc and Courts like ICC, Hybrid courts and other International Tribunals) to make other obey her wishes.
As John saw this scene, he was amazed at the sight and now the Angel proceeded to give a detailed explanation of the strange scene he was looking at. This explanation is very crucial to us today as these things are happening in our world – right now before our very eyes. Notice the words – this beast ‘was’ – it was ruling during the years of John but remember (John was in the wilderness) that is in prophetic theology it is 1798 A.D. Now at the time of the vision, John was told it was towards the end of the years, hence he was told that it is not but will come back (theologian believed this to be 1945) when the United States of America became powerful.
The expression ‘bottomless pit’ in prophesies means the depth of wickedness and sin of this World. Romans 1:26 – 27 says “26For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the women, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
This narrative shows the USA is the wicked Nation which promotes wickedness like Homosexuality, Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual ideology also known as sexual orientation. This is the greater ever ‘Evil’ which made the world of Sodom and Gomorrah to be destroyed by fire come from Heaven. Back to the topic, this shows us that USA “NEW DEMONSTRATION” of powers and authority to dictate the world affairs as like championing the LGBT agenda which is devilish.
It had some form of political wickedness that had never been used before at any time in the future not even compared with French Revolution, Holocaust, Rwanda Genocide etc. John was shown that this beast will be so wicked and cruel then before (e.g. dropping of atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan). So this power sits on, influences and tries to control all organizations either being United Nations, Continental bodies such as European Union, African Union, Arab League, Organization for Islamic Conference, Non Alliance Movement, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Common Wealth etc.
He influence them using both money and threat. One good example is, the United States of America funded 45% of the United Nations budget as well as 70% of the African Union and support individual countries budget deficit here in the region such as Security sector in Ethiopia, ICT and entrepreneurship sectors in Kenya plus reform and anti-corruption drive in Tanzania to mention but a few.
‘ONE IS’ – this is the LAMB-LIKE BEAST or USA with its two horns of civil and religious liberties. How do we know this for sure? Revelation 13:12 tells us that it exercises all the powers of the LEOPARD – LIKE BEAST BEFORE it. It is know because it came to power during the French Revolution in which Gen. Napoleon took over the Vatican City and took away the pope (1798). 10 ‘There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come’. This as we see, is what we are now hearing about; the ‘ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT’ aka ‘NEW WORLD ORDER’. This is actually the UN (formerly known as ‘THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS) activated and backed up by the might of the USA and using as its ‘moral authority’.
It is most interesting that in the plans which the world leaders and powers had drawn up the ‘NEW WORLD ORDER’, they have the world divided up into exactly tens parts as below; European Union, Arab League, Organization of American States (OAU), Association for South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), Middle East, Caribbean and South Pacific Nations, Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), East African Community (EAC), and South Caucasus Countries. The leaders designated for these regions will agree to let the UN rule as this is the best way they can get the people under control by using their moral authority. The USA gives the government of the UN moral authority as well as financial and military power to lead the world.
Therefore, this was the prophecy shown to John by the Angel of God about the rise of the United States of America and the United Nations and how they will merge together to shape the world politically and morally.
ECONOMIC BENEFITS OR NATIONAL SECURITY INTERESTS
From 1983 – 1994, since the inception of the Sudan Peoples’ Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/A) struggle for the marginalization of the people by the regime in Khartoum, USA did not intervene directly to help the SPLM/A but just watched as a spectator in the conflict. There was no interest for them to help the Southerners during the war era, but when Dr. John Garang De Mabior visited the United States of America in 1993. Dr. Garang convinced Americans about the presence of the Al Qadha leader Osama Bin Laden in Deim Zubeir in South Sudan brought by Khartoum government. The USA began to offer an assistance which was inform of humanitarian support for the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) and putting pressure on Sudan government to stop bombing civilian areas. Therefore, USA concerned was their national security but under the pretext of humanitarian by pressuring the Sudan government to the point of imposing an economic sanction in 2001.
The other issue was economic benefit for the USA and European countries, Norway was and is still eyeing at the oil in Industry in South Sudan. The USA and UK are not exception because in 2003, the SPLM/A issued two exploration licenses to oil companies namely Eskom and White Nile in Block B in Jonglei state. This Block included large parts of Jonglei, it started from Pariak in Southern Jonglei to Akeer in the central part of the state. They divided the Block into sections such as Malek, Malual Aghorbaar, Padak, Jalle and Akeer. Eskom took Malek, Malual Aghorbaar and Akeer while Padak and Jalle were given to White Nile.
To those who are not aware of Eskom and White Nile, Eskom is a Moldovan company with Americans as its shareholders and White Nile is a British Consortium of companies. During the negotiation from 2002 – 2005, the Americans and British diplomats pressed hard to include a clause in the CPA about the licenses issued before the CPA not to be changed or altered. This means they were nervous about what will affect their licenses after the agreement because they knew that they will benefit from the oil proceeds. In 2006, after bringing in their equipment and started exploration until the point that the sample of petroleum in Block B of the former Total Block reached the International market, Khartoum regime realized that Southern Sudan was no going to produce their own crude and they were not happy about Southern Sudan producing their own crude without 50% sharing enshrined in the Agreement. The government in Khartoum went to Total a French company which explored the oil since 1978 and was away because of insecurity in Southern Sudan. Total firm sued Eskom and White Nile in the UK courts. Total presented their case about having the exploration rights to Block B in question. Southern Sudan government defence lawyers went and the case was ruled in favour of Total. So, Americans queried the Southern Sudan government if they could be given also their exploration rights at Bentiu because Chevrons was an American company which explored the oil there. As well, that case didn’t materialize due to Sudan government intransigent about all the issues at stake. Therefore, Eskom and White Nile packed their equipment and went in discontent with the government of Southern Sudan because the clause in the CPA was not adequately defended by the legal team representing Southern Sudan government. This was the beginning of all troubles for the Salva Kiir Government because the west (USA in particular) did not secure their economic interest in South Sudan.
Therefore, whatever it takes for the USA and the UN in South Sudan, they will automatically push for a regime change. This will give the west a leverage to manoeuvre their interest, there is a saying in America that “American interest first” whether you are working in the US State Department, FBI, CIA, NSA or Federal agencies like USAID etc. The aim is American interest first then individual interests follow. With this in mind, it is imperative that the USA will enthusiastically push for the regime change for the next foreseeable future unless miracle happens.
SOLUTIONS TO THE CURRENT REGIME CHANGE IMPASSE
Let me not become a government strategist but the fact remain that regime change is eminent due to the above mentioned issues. These are some of the solutions that South Sudan government should opt to avoid a regime change.
- Offer the western companies specifically the American concession in the petroleum industry in South Sudan. The USA is a ram in the room; they have military and financial capability to through a dust into your food and nothing happen to them. This can be backed up by the book of 17:10, 13 thus say 10 there are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And he when it comes, he must continue a short time. 13 They are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.” The powers and authority worldwide is being champion by the USA, no authority that can exist without their (USA) approval.
- Movement the internal front like the Vietnamese and Cubans. I mean let the government unite the people of this great country called South Sudan then confront the west in a united slogan. The Vietnamese used their unity to defeat the Americans during the 1975 Vietnam War as well the same happened to the Cubans. These are the two nations in the world that managed to defeat the Americans in all fronts, diplomatically, economically and militarily what so ever the case may be.
- Convince the USA allies in the region such as Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Egypt and Internationally like UK, South Korea, Japan, Israel and Saudi Arabia to lobby against regime change in South Sudan. These allies have leverage on the USA decision, for example if Israel can approach the USA that regime change in South Sudan would not solve the national security of South Sudan or economic interest of the USA. The USA may listen to the argument from Israel much more rather than that of Uganda.
- Approach the lobby groups in the USA such as Enough Project, Committee against Genocide and other pressure groups. These groups influence the USA government decision on regime change around the world. The USA opinions always change due to these pressure groups loud outcry and reports of atrocities avail by their investigators in the conflict areas.
- Influence the Think-Tanks, researchers, academicians and opinion writers both internally and externally to report also the positive side that the government is doing. This may also impact on the opinion of the USA government since they are part and parcel of the decision that the government takes. They are consulted on variety of issues before taking action.
