Is the 4000 protection force a solution to South Sudan conflict?

September 7, 2016 (SSB) — I defined myself as the only South Sudanese if there is any, who do not agree with deceiving mechanisms of foreign troops as being solution to South Sudan problems. In 2013, and 2014, UNMISS was caught in Rumbek transporting weapons in the name of humanitarian assistant. There are other incidents that diplomatically solved by good will South Sudanese that are supposed to harm international relations, and if those who are fighting the government called for lighting fire, and the fire is add on top fuel, then where is trust and confident with UN and the coming troops?

What do they know about South Sudan issues to conflict? In my recent opinion writings, I put it clearly that foreign troops are not solution to our conflict in South Sudan, but they may be encouraging more insurgencies and encounter insurgencies like in nations  where foreign forces  undermined their national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and dignity.

It is because simply if somebody is to undermined your sovereignty and integrity by using an old methods of imperialism, and  colonialism into neo-colonialism as means of colonial judiciary, militarily, economic, politically, and diplomatically as it is tactics by American government who do not secured oil license from the government of South Sudan led by Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit.

It is actually clear to me since America lost Oil of block B in Jonglei and they were also in need to be transferred to Bentiu, which could not happened, becomes Kiir political problem like his boss Dr. John Garang who died watch by unquestioning claimed and President Kiir following footsteps of his boss to secure national resources is a hook on his throat and acts of regime change.

Now a days, American government under Barack Obama has stiff naked their American policy of “American interest first” than other human being in the world is well understood in South Sudan even the villagers who do not read and write are known to policy, a destructive policy.

I repeat several times that there is no peace unless I will be convince if South Sudanese whom I know they are peace loving people turn positively to work for peace under leadership of President Kiir Mayardit, First Vice president Gen. Taban Deng Gai, and Vice president James Wani Igga, and leave their ill intention, these foreign troops may come and look at us on distant like a fox and the cattle camp, then this is where I can join the rest of South Sudanese who are celebrating their more death unknowingly and join them on the scene.

It seems like South Sudanese are well educated but lack essences of knowledge they have acquired! Tell me South Sudanese, why everybody, I repeat everybody interested to jump into your national affairs, fuelled it, and rushing to solve it while you fought Arabs for 150 years, (1899-1947), Southern political struggle, (1955-1972), and (1983-2005), and nobody interfered to rescued you? What was the problem then, and what is the problem now? Answer me! Nonsense, I don’t agree whatsoever it might be said beautiful, because I participated in civil of 1983-2005.

I am a nationalist who have no powers, but I will not keep quiet because I have written number of opinion articles about South Sudan new colonialism. Of course, I am among the opinion writers who were been denied by President last months that “those are opinion writers who do not represent the government”.

Truly we are not representing the government, but we owned citizenship to social and political rights and obligations to our country not to be exploited by all means of possibilities. We never owned South Sudan by choice but by chance. By chance, God created us here and we got South Sudan by God consent, not by our choice, may be it would have been choose by other people, and the oil is finishing our people.

If people read through my article, they may saw me as an enemy of peace but I don’t see here in all these plans, deals, tactics, ideologies, and wealth accumulation through bloods of innocent people the real issues of peace. I don’t see peace coming with foreign troops but I saw peace resting in home grown peace initiatives among South Sudanese people by themselves, for themselves, and to themselves, and I have good number of guarantees of instabilities and destructions of nations whom UN or USA interfered with foreign troops the way they are coming to South Sudan. Understand whether they are coming peacefully or waring, there is no peace.

In my letter to presidency in April this year, I advised the Transitional Government of National Unity, (TGNU) which was then to be form, IGAD, AU, JMEC, and International Community to take care for the mistake of two armies they have made, and advised SPLM-IO not to be led astray by verbal supports they are getting inside and outside South Sudan, and to avoided new conflict which I analysed and it had happened on 8th July 2016 in J1 palace.

Now am also saying this to all peace stakeholders/shareholders that 4000 foreign troops to South Sudan is not a solution to conflict resolution but involvement of more insurgencies, and it is better to underline this challenge before it take place like poor strategy of two armies in shaky peace agreement last year on 17 August in Addis Ababa and 26 August in Juba.

Therefore, here are my analyses for the so called strong regional forces to protect civilians, JMEC office, humanitarian workers, and poor South Sudanese politicians, who always provoke their own environment, and seek help outside their own people. Mark these as the fragile situation is coming and these are problems always cause by foreign troops.

  1. American troops, (Marines), storm Mogadishu in Dec 09, 1992. They were taken to Somalia in 1992 to stop the war; between government but the Somalian fought them, until they left Somalia in mess up to day. Problems of Somalia were not stopped but America got it hard, they quitted their army and pushed IGAD, AU to fight Al-Shabaab which is threat in the regional as the region has no solution to it, and this is what I want to let the South Sudanese to know first, and understand the matter comparing to their national problems.
  2. Second, in Congo, there are thirty six thousands (36, 000) UN troops, but we do hear rebels and displacement of Congolese people, and Congolese refugees in Uganda, and even in South Sudan, Congolese are here. The strong troops of UN in Congo never stop rebellion, and fighting, and no development. What I know which is happening in Congo where big number UN troops deployed are rapes, killings, hunger, supporting insurgencies, looting golds, silver, diamond, and other resources, because how you think as South Sudanese UN will put away rapes cases, killings, fighting, looting of nations resources, and these are routes of their active projects. How do you think somebody may deal with his/her own survival?
  3. Recently, take the massive killing in Central Africa Republic, (C.A.R), between Muslims and Christians, in eyewitnesses of UN troops, and they turned raping girls of 13 years old. So how do you think your young girls who are in an absolute may escape cases of rapes and exploitation, and tariffing from the coming 4000 UN troops in Juba?
  4. In 2011 Foreign troops of NATO in Libya, and the regime change beating drum of Mummer Gadhafi, and civilians who enjoyed national privileges which are not even in America, were deceived to killed their leader, and nation is now in uncertain future, don’t fool South Sudanese learned from Libya?
  5. Marines fought Sad am Hussein for regime change in Iraq, and were applying blanket policy for Nuclear weapons, but up to day, Iraq is unstable in the Middle East.
  6. Syria is now seriously affected because of foreign hands in conflict and military supports to rebels, and encounter insurgencies backed by America and Russia. There is no solution with military allies and issues of interventions.
  7. Ethiopia Prime Minister is ignoring his home problems, and is quick into South Sudan problems, because he is one American tool against South Sudan in the name of good word called peace. America pushes Ban Ki- Moon, and Ban Ki-Moon pushes IGAD so that they secure dollars. When UN asked Ethiopian government to investigate killing and human abuses, they refused and they are heading campaigning for troop intervention in South Sudan. I don’t know issues of instigating, and intimidating other nation, am I mistaken, is not a crime and why Charles Tailor, the former President of Liberia was sentenced to life imprisonment in ICC for the case of Sierra Leone? And many other examples.

The 4, 000, and already existing 12,000 UN troops in South Sudan are not totally solution but elements of insurgencies. Imagine there are number of militias in South Sudan, for example SPLM-IO with many wings, groups of oppositions, FDs, IGAD, AU, TRIOKA, UN, and all are against the government. If the strong additional UN troops come, and all above opposition hide under shadow of strong UN forces, and supply rebels as in areas I mentioned above, then do you think government will leave hand tied?

Blindly South Sudanese are celebrating deployment of foreign troops and invitation of more death. Some even reaching to level of saying, “SPLA will not talk again, the kind of weapons the regional will have may close weapons of South Sudan army have”, and this is another misleading circulations like two armies that cause death in July.  If UN has those weapons, why they allowed Congo fighting for all these years and not stopping them?

Many analysts are speculating false hopes and deceptions. I didn’t change my mind of tough questions, why all nations even nations with their internal burning like Ethiopia recently 400 civilian died, and don’t mind about them, it is because America who is using all means don’t want to destroy South Sudan alone, they want to do it as a collective responsibility, but I will accept a peace done by South Sudanese themselves like these two months of Gen. Taban Deng Gai are peaceful months.

I would like to conclude that it is well stated by Ugandan President Youri Kaguta Museveni in South Sudan fourth Independence Anniversary that, “he did not make a mistake to allow men with blue helmets in his country, so he said, if you don’t chase away UNMISS, you will have peace in your country.

Right let’s stop celebrating specially those who are advocating for change, because change will change us by itself, but let’s unite, and ashamed the international community by implementing peace agreement so that their plans to divide us, or destroy us may have no room in the future.  God bless South Sudan.
