January 17, 2017 (SSB) — This press release is the response to ongoing debate on social media about governor’s relieved and appointment of Gogrial state official.
Hon. Gregory Deng yesterday relieved three commissioners and security advisor to the former state government and appointing their successors immediately.
However this has drawn huge discussion on social media last night with the mixed reactions from the citizens of Gogrial state whether the governor is trying to replace former government with his new loyalists and political supporters.
The office of the governor is issuing this statement regarding the latest development in Gogrial state that the governor is doing the reshuffling which is the normal thing in any government. This is procedural and has nothing to do with any ills intention.
The governor has released the commissioners of Apuk East, Awan chan and Agouk South counties respectively and state security advisor was replaced with former commissioner of Gogrial east county Hon. Akot Lual Akot who is currently serving in UNSIFA before his new assignment as security advisor to the governor of Gogrial State.
With the related development in Gogrial State, the governor has yesterday laid the foundation stone for Kuajok health and sciences institute, which is the good move for state development.
The office of the governor is today informing the State citizens that their governor, Hon. Gregory Deng will officially starts the tour to counties starting with Gogrial town.
