South Sudan: School children are the futurist face of our national treasury

November 6, 2017 (SSB) — School is an institution of formal education and instruction, education in South Sudan which was Southern region and later become Southern Sudan after the signing of CPA in 2005 was delivered to the learners in most of the bush schools.
Two years later after the Independence of South Sudan on 9th July 2011 educational process has been on the unhinged scale due to the number of uncertainties inflicted on people by internal and external antagonism particularly during the longest civil war that was fought between SPLM/A and (NIF; National Congress Party/NCP).
Merely a great number of schools in the former Southern region of Sudan were established during the Southern Regional Administration of (1972-81).
Given that the liveliness of every society is based on its social curriculum activities, attention and caring must be universally given to the School children; communal care has been the greatest and olden social norms of our human society and cannot be just thrown into the bin of social injustice.
School as a clear face of social order and progress has been the central pillar of positive change within our human societies after the appearance of formal education.
As the theory of modern education explains, the school has for recent years taken a center stage in the acquisition of new skills and knowledge characterized by innovation and scientific views.
Today learning and instructions are given by teachers to their pupils and students in an identified location called ‘‘School’’.
After the Independence of South Sudan from Sudan on 9th July 2011, the levels of enrollment in schools and the number of schools opened were promising; the government and developmental partners intensely put on tough educational campaigns.
But due to the outbreak of war in Dec 2013 the little progress achieved was drained and since then school children, their parents, and teachers have been battling learning difficulties due to economic and financial gaping that has resulted in severe school administrative and transportation challenges.
Though some of the parents had been putting on the bravest face of careworn to at least pay school fees and put a portion of food on the table, school children are still left with the slippery road of the academic journey.
Owing to variable and patchy changes in public bus fare that blow up anytime without warning, some of the school children have been sagging along with depressing and embarrassment with the little money given to them by their guardians as transportation fares and dry break lunch.
Because to the above circumstances some children for example have been preferring footing instead of discouraging bus wait and worriedly-warning of the rising sun, the majority of them track all the way to central Juba and are at a time meet with severe punishments or being sent home.
In the midst of current economic severity that has stroked and money off everyone across the nation, few individuals who are privileged and own business, personal or official cars must give shown accommodating hearts to the school children by giving them hearty lift when they come across their worrying and help demanding faces.
The school children are always thankful, you will be blessed and the spirit of nationalism will be engraved into their tender hearts as they navigate the social path of attainments toward tomorrow social, economic and political rides.
More importantly some school administrative policies must accommodate today happenings, knowing that some of the children might have money for transport but with no imminent public bus in insight whereas other might have half of the fare and have to wait for the kind heart to take the little they have, whereas others have nothing at all and have to make use of the little energy to reach their schools.
Our school children are the next generation for social, economic and political continuity, people should honestly and openly invest in children with any form of an assistant without discrimination and reluctance because in almost every family there might be a school going child.
Teachers give, Children receive and Parents support learning.
