The Trending “Leadership Structure” of South Sudan United Front/Army is “Fake”
South Sudan United Front/ Army: Public statement
April 10, 2018 (SSB) — This is to inform the public that South Sudan United Front/Army is a movement with the objective of restoring the hopes of South Sudanese in a systematic manner. The movement has operation channels and will not be fed or allow a third party to feed the public with false allegations.
The movement does not entertain falsehood and propaganda and it is for reason that I am writing to inform you that the trending list of the appointee designate isn’t a making of our chairman or any movement’s organ. It is a plan by the Juba regime and particularly its rottening security apparatus through its propaganda wing to create confusion.
Yesternight, they planned to orchestrate a propaganda in countering the declaring of the movement’s emergence. The then contrived structure is below and titled:
Leadership Structures.
1. General Paul Malong Awan Anei, Chairman and Commander In Chief.
2. Hon. James Kok Rwei, Deputy Chairman and Commander In Chief
3. Amb. Telar Ring Deng, Secretary for Extarnal Relations.
4. Hon. Akol Paul Kordit, Secretary for Political Afdairs.
5. Lucy Ayak, Deputy Secretary for External Relations.
6. Manut Yai, Chief of intelligence.
7. Akok Malek, Financial Affairs Officer.
8. More appointments to be announced soon.
For your information the only valid name on this false list is that of our Chairman and Commander-In-Chief General Paul Malong Awan. However, the rest should be treated as a made-up crap and therefore are just names of people the regime perceived as her enemies and had opted to brand them perhaps for their later use. We do not have association with those people and so the list is not from us and we reject it vehemently.
However, we stand for all South Sudanese and hence we want them to join the movement in massive numbers and Juba Regime of Salva Kiir should not help us in recruitment of our membership or in structuring our leadership. We have not made any structured leadership public and so speculations should cease until we communicate.
Yours in Struggle,
Sunday de John
The spokesperson for the Chairman,
South Sudan United Front/Army
