Sunday, February 02, 2020 (PW) — With instabilities of all sorts, our beloved country—South Sudan is in the radar of American foreign policy. Before I churn out blames towards those in the ruling, the urge to expose mechanisms of capitalism is so great. Nothing changes in capitalism since SLAVERY was initiated in Africa 500 YEARS ago (in 15th century). Just its metamorphosis in the eddies of lies: Colonisation, Christianity, Democracy, and globalisation.

With exception of colonisation, other three lies have some silver linings without capitalism poison. However, as long as the capitalism is breathing, stretching its monstrous tentacles, African countries—minerals-blessed countries will bleed to their last drops. Drop the idea of foreign countries saving Africans from diseases, hunger, dictatorial leaderships, or barbarism. FORGET FOREIGN SALVATION.

Nothing runs without Africa, from palaces, parliaments (White House and Palace of Westminster) to satellites orbiting the earth and rockets landing on the moon. Africa gives blood and sweat. Africa is the lifeline.

If we were to forget the worst sins (slavery, colonisation and “ahac dhor” Christianity) of capitalism, we mustn’t forget the SWAPPING EVIL HANDS that ladle civil and tribal wars in Africa. The competing super powers—America and Russia are the SWAPPING EVIL HANDS. Be close to one, and the other will chime in with 0.00001 % of the population that’s screaming out MARGINALISATION.

Don’t take me wrong. Every freedom is worthy; every life is priceless, but bulldozing the whole country, and then siphoning oil is a crime of capitalism.

Our beloved country: South Sudan is in the axis of capitalism and Communism. She is in the radar of American Foreign Policy. If you think America is involved in humanitarian affairs, you better wake up from this slimy dream. America is slithering in South Sudan informs of UNMISS, aid workers and SPLM-IO leadership.

As those connected to this beautiful country, we must prepare for the Congo’s wind, or pray for quick political maturity of our politicians.

Only political maturity would have stifled the giants, and vampires of capitalism. Political maturity would have helped in social maturity; it would have helped in economic growth; it would have helped in political differences. Developments would have reached all corners of our country.

However, what can we show today, after 15 years of receiving relative oil revenues? Nothing. Nothing for the common man and woman. No agriculture production. No schools in villages. No modern roads. No security. No clean water. No modern hospitals.

Our country is at the mercy of foreign intervention, especially from America and her allies! Our politicians must invest in people, the South Sudanese—the common citizens with the failing health and livelihoods.

Because the personal wealth, health and leadership will amount to nothing at the crossroads of fate. If the fate knocks, the golden bed, chairs or palace can’t save you. Gaddafi died shirtless, but he had it all. Saddam died dangling with nothing dearer than his life, the lives of his sons and grandson (14 years old), and the lives of million innocents who lost their lives when Iraq was carpet-bombed by the America and her allies.

Leadership that doesn’t invest in people is a curse.
