Make Cush Great Again!
By David Gurak, Arizona, USA
Land of Cush; the birthplace of humanity, I refuse to be an interloper in another man’s country.
Land of Cush; the oldest known civilization, I refuse to be debased to the World’s newest nation.
Land of Cush; of thousands years old history, I refuse to be packed in a 9 years old misery.
Land of Cush; land of great Queens and Kings, I refuse to bow down to looters and thugs.
Land of Cush; of Amanirenas, Tirhakah and Garang, I refuse to be ruled by a few corrupted gangs.
Land of Cush; glorious land of great stride I refuse to allow your history to be brushed aside.
Land of Cush; land of the mighty Cushites, I refuse to be known by any other names.
Beloved Land of Cush; of milk, honey and grains, I refuse to celebrate till Cush is great again.
