1.   Director of Radio & TV (Grade 3): Vacant position (1)

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Communication, or related fields.Other Requirements: South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State. Job Description: The Director of Radio & TV is the position that requires a candidate who can able to direct staff to achieve tasks in timely manner, coordinate all the activities being carried out in all departments of the radio, and supervise the employees who are working at the radio station. The candidate who applies for this position must have leadership and supervisory experience of 5-7 years in the field of Radio and TV to ensure smooth operations of the radio station. This position reports to the Director General (DG).

2.   Deputy Director of Radio & TV (Grade 4): Vacant position (1)

Minimum Qualification:Diploma in Journalism, Communication, or related fields. Other Requirements: South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State.Job Description:The Deputy Director of Radio & TV works collaboratively with the Director of Radio & TV to supervise the staff, coordinate all the activities at the radio station, and provide clear direction to the employees so that the radio station should operate more effectively and efficiently. The candidate who applies for this position should have leadership and supervisory experience of 4-5 years in the field of Radio & TV. This position reports to the Director of Radio & TV.

3.   Electrician (Grade 6): Vacant position (1).

Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma in electrical engineering or related fields. Other Requirements: South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State. Job Description: This position requires better knowledge of electric, with experience of 4-6 years as Electrician. The candidate must reports to the Deputy Director of Radio & TV in terms of any issues that might arise during the operations of the radio.

4.   Engineer (Grade 6): Vacant position (2)

Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or related fields. Other Requirements: South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State. Job Description: The candidate who applies for this position should have excellent knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering, an experience of 4-6 years as electrical or mechanical engineer is required. This position reports to the Deputy Director of Radio & TV.

5.   Studio Technical Operator (Grade 6): Vacant position (2)

Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related fields. Other Requirements: South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State. Job Description: The position of Studio Technical Operator needs candidate with 4-6 years as studio operator in the commercial or public radio. The candidate must be able to work with coworkers more effectively. The Studio Technical Operator should know how to operate the studio very well and knowledgeable in fixing the studio in case of any technical problems. This position reports to the Deputy Director of Radio & TV.

6.   Transmission Technician (Grade 6): Vacant position (2)

Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related fields. Other Requirements: South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State. Job Description: This position needs a candidate who has an experience of 4-6 years as transmission technician of radio and educational background in electronic engineering. The transmission technician will be able to transmit information through the radio channels to ensure successful daily operation. This position reports to Deputy Director of Radio & TV.

7.   Head of News Desk (Grade 7): Vacant position (1)

Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma in Journalism or related fields. Other Requirements: South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State. Job Description: This position needs candidate with experience of 4-6 years as journalist, and should analyze the news before it is being taken to the radio or TV for broadcasting. The Head of News Desk must have educational background in journalism or related fields, and better knowledge in English and Arabic languages to analyze news successfully, and work with news editors. This position reports to Deputy Director of Radio & TV.

8.   News Reader (Grade 7): Vacant position (2)

Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma in Journalism or related field. Other Requirements:South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State. Job Description: News Reader in English Language, experience: 4-6 years as journalist. This position needs candidate who can able to read the news successfully in English Language, and works collaboratively with news editor. The news reader cannot read the news without prior approval of Head of News Desk. This position reports to Deputy Director of Radio & TV. News Reader in Arabic Language, experience: 4-6 years as journalist. This position needs candidate who can able to read the news successfully in Arabic Language, and works collaboratively with news editor. 9.   News Editor (Grade 8): Vacant position (2)

Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma in Journalism or related field. Other Requirements:South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State. Job Description: News Editor in English Language, experience required: 4-6 years as journalist. The candidate will edit the news being collected by other journalists and write an approval to the news reader so that the news will be broadcasted on the radio or TV. News Editor in Arabic Language, experience required: 4-6 years as journalist. The candidate will edit the news being collected by other journalists in Arabic language and write an approval to the news reader so that the news will be broadcasted on the radio or TV. This position reports to Deputy Director of Radio & TV.

10.       Program Producer (Grade 8): Vacant position (2)

Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma in Journalism or related field. Other Requirements:South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State. Job Description: Program producer in English Language, experience required: 4-6 years as journalist. This position requires candidate with educational background in Journalism in English Language. The candidate for this position must plan the programs to be broadcasted on the radio or TV. For example, there are daily, weekly, and monthly programs for broadcasting and the program producer will be able to produce such programs. This position reports to Deputy Director of Radio & TV. Program producer in Arabic Language, experience required: 4-6 years as journalist. This position needs candidate with educational background in Journalism in Arabic Language. The candidate for this position must plan the programs to be broadcasted on the radio or TV. This position reports to Deputy Director of Radio & TV.

11.       IT Technician (Grade 8): Vacant position (2)

Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or related fields. Other Requirements: South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate. The candidate should come from Jonglei State. Job Description: This position requires candidate with experience of 4-6 years as Computer Technician. The candidate who is interested in this position must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Windows XP. This candidate should be able to fix any issues that may prevent the computer from working properly. This position reports to Deputy Director of Radio & TV.

A.   Anyuak- needs one presenter (has not been recruited yet); we are currently accepting applications in Anyuak Language (Grade 12). Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate.Other Requirements: South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate.Job Description: This position needs one presenter who speaks and writes fluently in Anyuak language. The candidate will presents the issues facing the Anyuak Community. This position reports to Head of News Desk. `

B.   Kachipo– needs one presenter (has not been recruited yet); we are currently accepting applications in Kachipo Language (Grade 12). Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate.Other Requirements:South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate.Job Description: This position needs one presenter who speaks and writes fluently in Kachipo language. The candidate will presents the issues facing the Kachipo Community. This position reports to Head of News Desk.

C.   Jie: needs one presenter (has not been recruited yet), and we are currently accepting applications in Jie Language (Grade 12).  Minimum Qualification: Secondary Education Certificate.Other Requirements: South Sudan National ID, Birth Certificate.Job Description: This position needs one presenter who speaks and writes fluently in Jie language. The candidate will presents the issues facing the Jie Community. This position reports to Head of News Desk.
