The Republic of South Sudan is currently overwhelmed by political and social media unrest. However, Riek Machar must face international law and the law in South Sudan. All in all, Machar must recognize that South Sudan is an independent nation where there is law and system in place.
Therefore, Dr. Machar must compensate the death of innocent people in Upper Nile and Unity State. Consequently, Dr. Machar has defied the constitution of South Sudan by broadcasting the allege group that has killed more than 30, 000 in the areas of Upper Nile and Unity State.
The assessments of 30, 000 deaths have been collected and confirmed through sub community leaders of Upper Nile and Unity state. If Dr. Machar was a democrat and future to the people of South Sudan, why would he kill the civilians and not just the military of South Sudan?
However, Dr. Machar attempts to eliminate Dinkas and Shiluk in Upper Nile according to his wish. Today the majority of South Sudanese realizes that Dr. Machar is not a democrat but a master mindset of killings and power demand.
Unfortunately for him, his wish of becoming the president of South Sudan will not come true. Even though Riek brings life back to Ngundeng, nothing will bring the power that he claimed for many years.
Hence, the government of South Sudan should not and will not allow the precondition that are been recommended by the group of rebels.
The rebels are putting more complication to the peace talks in Addis Ababa and within South Sudan.
Here are the seven agendas of the rebel precondition to the government of South Sudan in Addis Ababa.
The rebels are demanding the following suggestions
ü The above Flag is on the agenda to the peace talk in Addis Ababa
ü Donkey as a sign of democratic and miscalculation to the allege coup for the loss of many lives of civilians in South Sudan.
ü Malakal has been suggested as a Latejor State
ü South Sudan money is known as a William pound
ü Nuer language is proposed to be one of the national language for all 63 tribes in South Sudan
ü Uganda troops are rebutted by the rebels to leave South Sudan immediately
ü The integration of rebels Militias is a big topic of debate
However, the government of South Sudan is dedicated to bring peace to the country. However, the Rebel leaders like Riek and Taban Deng are bringing more complications to the peace talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Therefore, I urge the government of South Sudan and the rebel leaders to settle their differences to ease the pain and weakness of people of South Sudan.
All in all, the government of South Sudan will not be blamed while the rebels are changing the ideas of the peace deal in Addis Ababa.
On the other hand, people of South Sudan should acknowledge that Dr. Machar is not Pro-democratic, which he claims is the reason against the legitimate government of South Sudan.
I am not surprised with this kind of assertiveness of Dr. Riek as he has previous killings in 1970’s and 1991. When Riek was in high school in 1970s in Atar County, Jonglei state, he shot Liem De Kuol with an arrow while the boy was playing with his classmate. Suddenly, Liem De kuol died as a result of the shooting.
Eventually, Riek had been arrested for 5 years as a result of shooting people randomly. However, when Riek was released from jail, he was sent to Rumbek Secondary because of his insecurity reasons.
As a result, the government of South Sudan will not accept the process of drafting the new constitution of 1991 ethnic violence.
Unfortunately, the government of South Sudan will not accept the interim government without the knowledge of the President Kiir Mayardit.
Therefore, the future of the interim government in South Sudan is still questionable by the civil society and the law in South Sudan.
Thus, Dr. Machar needs to remember that his political career is over without testing his claims of democracy.
What happened in 1991 was exactly what happened to the same people of Dinka Bor and Greater Padang community. In 1991 conflict, Dinka Bor had lost more than 40,000and Dinka Padang communities lost more than 25,000.
Seemingly, Machar had accepted his wrongdoing of 1991 by apologizing to Dinka Bor in Aug 10, 2011. With that, the world should understand that Machar is not a democratic; he is a master of intimidation to his own people.
Nevertheless, the government of South Sudan had to suggest another way to bring Riek to the justice of South Sudan.
Hence, President Kiir has accountability and the birthright to lead the people of South Sudan until he completes his terms. Yet, some of us would argue that President Kiir has been in power for more than eight years. Of course, President Kiir has been in power with his former VP Riek Machar, which was against the future of the people of South Sudan.
Because of his creditability and commitment during our struggle, President Kiir was chosen by the people of Republic of South Sudan.
Therefore, President Kiir he deserves his position as president of South Sudan since he did not move back to Khartoum like other leaders who were disturbing us during the civil war.
Yet, former VP president was not qualified to contest for 2015 election due to his records of killing innocent people in 1991 and current violence in South Sudan.
Therefore, such attitudes of 1991 have also been applied by Dr. Machar to overthrow the legitimate government of South Sudan that has been selected by the majority voted.
In my disagreement, blaming President Kiir is not a legitimate reason that would allow the prophet of doom to become a better leader.
Seemly, Dr. Machar has been rejected by the majority of South Sudanese because of his previous killing of 1991 and currently violence which has killed more than 30,000 in 2013 and 2014.Consequently, Dr. Riek Machar was defined by the majority of South Sudanese as a leader with destructive and master mindset of killing innocent’s people.
Therefore, the majority of South Sudanese has come to believe that President Kiir is a legitimate leader and accountable to lead the country till he accomplishes his terms.
However, the majority of South Sudanese people believe that Dr. Machar is a leader to himself and most of the animals in the bushes.
Apparently, Riek Machar will be hanged in the street square in Juba by June 29, 2014 otherwise; government of South Sudan will remain dysfunctional.
There should be an exemplary punishment to Riek because the man should not be able to commit crime every day while he is 62 years old retired.
