Vice President, Igga who is delegated by President Salva Kiir Mayardit is leading a High Level Delegation to New York to attend the Seventieth (70th) Session of the United Nations General Assembly where Vice President Igga will deliver a speech on Saturday, September 26, 2015.
Vice President Igga will also participate and deliver a statement at the High Level Meeting on South Sudan scheduled to take place on September 29, 2015 which is hosted by the United Nations Peacekeeping Operations.
The delegation was received at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City at 7:30pm on Wednesday by H. E. Garang Diing Akuang, Ambassador (Head of Mission) to South Sudan Embassy to the United States of America based in Washington DC, H. E. Amb. Dr. Francis Mading Deng, Head of Mission, South Sudan Mission to United Nations in New York, Amb. Joseph Moum Majak Ngor Malok, Deputy Head of Mission, Diplomats and Mission staff in New York.
