The creation of 18 additional states will engage the youth into development

October 15, 2015 (SSB) — As the South Sudan’s government intellectuals and at the same time as the sons of Greater Akobo we welcomed the creation of 18 additional states, this will engage the youth into development instead of to follow the politicians who internally split fighting for their own wealthy or maybe with an attach to gain something for living during destruction like recently crisis of 2013 and the past of years back.
Community of Greater Akobo within and abroad could be the first people to congratulate the President Kiir for his blessing created of 28 new states for so many reasons. President has highlighted most important ones “My administration in the center was busy with issues to do with your self-determination such that you become free and sovereign state.
Now, indeed you are free, therefore, there is no reason for me to retain your constitutional right for self-governance, self-reliance, self-development and determine your through free, fair and democratic election in years to come,” In fact, Greater Akobo community had been yearning for this for so long more than any other community to receive their government services that had been enjoyed by the rest of South Sudanese communities.
Surely, no one knows what limited the government services to reach Lou community since signed of CPA whether from State government, local authority, leaders of both tribes in local and national government, or was strategic plan that comes from politician who wanted to use the Lou youth for his own political game after they fully anger with government for the lack of having no services. For sure, the services in this creation of 28 new states administrative will reach all children of South Sudanese
Congratulation Mr. President! Hopefully, few individuals’ intellectuals who have a sense enough of right judgment will continue standing tall to support your administrative order no.36/2015 of 28 states that will call many South Sudanese graduates within and abroad come to serve our nation, even if, the rebel leader former vice president Dr. Machar who was served for long eight (8) years straight with zero satisfied to all citizens for what he was just claimed 21states and in some days back he called it “a violation of peace implementation.” Would it not sound a confusing of the civilians and the international community?
Appeal to you all Lou-Nuer youth (while army), the 21 months civil war you were dragged in by the politicians is now over just looking for employment opportunity in this new created 28 states to help the remained lives of your families, leave alone the politicians fighting their own seats politically not in violence action care by some of your supports. The revenges that were taken place will be put on to whoever will be accountable for this ongoing civil war. Is it not a bad business used other people children to die for their own benefits while their children are not participated to defense their money?
As your intellectual brothers, please take this appeal and remain as good citizens of South Sudan nation. Believe also in the past, government troops could have bypassing you if you remained neutral like before your elder brothers during Anya-Nya Two and SPLA their turmoil fighting, take it as an example. In this crisis, your fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters all of them were died unburied, who cared with one another during the last eight years (8) of former vice president Dr. Riek Machar, only a united government under federalism system will be taking care of its own citizens not individual person and knowing that every person’s accountability and responsibility can be contributing to make signed peace accord become reality.
Question of tribal division that many people misjudged in this created of 18 additional states, it cannot be answerable. These 28 states administrative should solve a magnitude of suffering that big number of people facing all across the South Sudan.
Advantages and disadvantages must be the key issues that most anti-28 states could have to focus on rather than accelerated negative solution. Right judging person should first list the factors then jump up to argue over many disadvantages that people would be facing in any particular state, “government is running by the people not people are running by the government.” Writer said. Those leaders who are working for the government decisions will do readjustment to narrow down some disadvantages to possible lives standard for people who will be affected by the creation of 28 states.
There are here many good advantages to look at in this creation of new 28 or 29 states as suggested by General Peng Deng Majok and Governor Mr. Rizik Zackara to develop the South Sudan young nation. Having a deeply judgment, additional 18 states will minimize the tribal hatred that developed by one majority tribe dominated the center of state government key important positions, will reduce the corruption that was applied by different tribe leaders who could not summon by other tribe civilians for their own limited development services in the counties, will promote to deliver services for development that does not reach all civilians in their own “towns and villages”, and will increase number of employees against unemployment.
Any reaction received from opposition party and whether from individuals against 28 states created by Gen. President Salva Kiir Mayardit should not be given a room in the debate, this call for federalism it demands more than even 28 states in the country that is full of tribes like our country South Sudan.
The ethnic boundaries tension, the borders had been there permanently, in my opinion meaning that nothing will remove residents from their own land to cross a border line of state to other state.
Congratulation! Mr. President this creation of 28 states administrative order no.36/2015 in the spiritual point of view will act alike as our previous chief rule where no chiefs had taken a court fines (cows & money) from other county court fines, for example like chief from Wuror County Courts had not taken the fines from Duk County Courts.
Our leaders in both state and national government shall work the same like tribes chiefs traditional administration because there was nothing totally wrong with it. Leaders who shall lead the state government would be questionable by their own people as well as to be challenging to some degree of impeachment to get out of the public office for life. This shall be condition guidance for every leader in all states.
In these 28 states administrative, it shall be better for the leaders from state to work for development for their own people or worst to personally promote development for only their family and leave the rest of citizens in very remote areas without development.
Once again, Greater Akobo Community is grateful to welcome creation of 28 states and to congratulate your thoughts full vision to free people and to let services reaching all children by created new 28 states.
Yours extended to three years president has meant a lot more than eight (8) years worked with former vice president Dr. Riek Machar.
