New Tonj State: An Open Letter to President Salva Kiir Mayaardit of South Sudan

Your Excellency, President Kiir:
November 10, 2015 (SSB) — The president of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, South Sudanes citizens worldwide are with you and wanted to see and hear the final amendment of 28 states that you have decreed on 2nd Oct 2015. You promised to implement it with immediate effect without Parliamentary approval. 30 days of work are over and there seems to be vacancy in next decree that the citizens are longing for.
For 10 years, we have been longing to see the positive parts of SPLM/A and its visions and mission. On 2 Oct 2015 you really did announce a little fragrant to the vision of SPLM/A; taking town to people rather than people coming to towns.
Our worries Mr. President is if the implementation of the decree is not implement, I assure you, you will see more defections and revolutions in the country. People will turn against you and the world will prove themselves powerful over your powers as the president. Don’t listen to those blocking your mission, see them with your eye-lid and just by-pass them. Dr. Machar is trying with different means to distract you and South Sudan, blocking peace to prevail.
Don’t give up for Joshua in the Bible continued the mission of Moses when Moses died and he led them to the Promised land. You have same history with Joshua and Moses as John Garang acted in Position of Moses and now you acting in place of Joshua. Israelites complained and grumbled turning away from God and that is exactly what is happening in South Sudan situation.
Why are we subjecting ourselves to what is bad and wrong in front of Allah? Killing your sub-ordinates doesn’t show any sign of leadership as Riek did. Though he is allowed to rule South Sudan., who are those ones he will govern for he killed and displaced them causing more deaths and disasters the nation.
Mr. President, be wise and have your advisers damned aside this time. Work alone and think of how to implement 28 states. For your success lies in the hands of citizens themselves not world bodies as they are interfering in South Sudanese politics and administration. That’s all I have to remind you your Excellency, and I hope you’ll listen to the demands of your sub-ordinates.
