Failure to reconciles two communities of Dinka Bor and Nuer before advance team reach Bor town will face resistance among locals

May peace and reconciliation prevail in South Sudan!!
May peace and reconciliation prevail in South Sudan!!

November 13, 2015 (SSB)  —  Sending advance team to Juba plus other 9 states is another failed strategy plans done by rebels leader Riek Machar who is about send 500 cadres to Juba and other 9 states, he should be well aware of how this people will be receive in Bor, instead of them being welcome with joy and dance, they may be welcome with stones if not bullets. Bor in particular had suffered massively twice in the hand of Riek Machar’s rebellious, which had implanted deep wound and hatreds that should not be ignore or overlook for seek of peace.

Yes we need peace but before the so-called advance team reach Bor, they two communities of Nuer and Dinka need to reconciles and make their own peace that will includes forgiveness and acceptance of wrong done to the affected community. Coming to Bor without proper reconciliation process and without peace within our two communities, specially among the Dinka Bor and Nuer will result into unmeasurable and unproductive toward future reconciliation process and it will bring resistance and even new rebellious from our people who never rebelled against any system.

Bor endurance and patience have been tested many times and it had reached it endpoint to say a life of Bor is important like any other life. As history will articulate, Bor people never being coward in the history, our people love to died for justify war and the values lives of other as their own, that should not be misinterpreted as our coward of not attacking other communities in the South Sudan, it’s in the blood of every Dinka in general not to fight a war that got no meaning and value to be achieved.

Yes we respect our elders such as Gen. Kuol Manyang, Michael Makuei, Deng Dau just to mention few but again our respect for them should not mounted to kills people our without proper explanation and their positions in govt should not too used to massacres our people.

Those women, kids and elders who where massacres and raped in the churches, hospital and some in their houses, where innocents and got nothing to do with what have happened in Juba or nothing to do with leadership of the SPLM PARTY, they were poor people, some of them never even receive salaries from the govt of South Sudan, their blood should not be overlook or ignore by either the side be rebels or govt.

It’s painful indeed and remains burning issue that need to be urgently address by the govt and rebels. Up to now the people have not being told what have happened in Ethiopia capital, what was signed and what has been reached? However, the govt should know that if the rebels fail to know the important of reconciliation before touring any state, than they should avoid touring Bor.

Why are we bitter toward our sons who had joined the rebels camp and G10, they are less than 10 people from Bor in rebels side but none of them will be welcome with love and happiness to Bor including in their families due to the damage done to our people by the rebels which was great and unimaginable effects on community.

Riek Machar not ignore that he had failed second time to win the heart and mind of Dinka Bor people, the community that had contributed significant higher number of heroes who fought the liberation war cannot only contribute less than 10 people to your rebels movement, this indicate your great failure and lack of vision and direction toward your tribal movement.

The Bor community contributed greater number in term of sons and daughters into SPLA that make them to became second to Dinka Bhar el Gazal who had contributed the highest number in the liberation struggle. We lost thousands lives in justify war between South and North Sudan and we never quit or abandon the struggle until you returned into SPLA in 2002 and we lost thousands lives to your greediness and your unjustified wars of 1991 and 2013.

If I can ask you simple question, to whom do you think that sustain the SPLA war until you decided return alone to the movement in 2002, without even your body guide?

This should tell you that you did not win our heart and our mind to see you as the best alternative to president Kiir. Our respect for mankind and rules of law is in our blood and should never taken away from us, either should it be misplace as coward to our people.

None of us sees Nuer people as our enemies but you always make it clear that they are our enemies not brothers,  that why we are always under the attacked whenever you are looking for leadership which you always failed to win. You should not fall twice in the same hole unless you are a fooled not even a blind man can fall twice.
