Here come the Christmas again
Like the sun that rises and sets everyday
Like the river that flows to one direction all the times until it is dried up and picks the same trend when it is full again
Like the clouds that haphazardly roams the blue sky in search of the unknown
Like water Lilly that floats on the waters moving to unspecified directions all the times – so is the Christmas

As always and ever will be, I know you are coming but I will not go for you as I know that you will get me here
With your cunning of luring people to buy clothes, shoes and braid their hairs when their children have nothing in their stomachs, I will not go for you
With your cunning of luring people to go for parties and other merry makings when there is nothing to buy something to put on the table, I will not go for you
With the saving reduced to nothing by “currency devaluation”, I will not go for you

I will not prepare for you either if you do not prepare for me
Coiled like cobra waiting to strike, I will not prepare for you
Buried in the soil like land mines waiting to eliminate unintended victim, I will not prepare for you
Steady and sharp like planted tip-pointing rusted nail waiting to prick one’s foot, I will not prepare for you

Waiting for you is like milking wrestles cow in a byre, you cannot be fathomed, I will not prepare for you
with the vultures of poverty flapping their wings in the skies of Equatoria, Bar-el-Gazhal and Upper Nile, i will not prepare for you
With the wave of violent, robbery, corruption and anarchy stroking our heads with rage, I will not prepare for you
With our South Sudanese pounds made less important than it really is without first increasing the salaries of the local employees, I will not prepare for you if you do not prepare for me
