April 2, 2016 (SSB)  —-  The big shocked for citizens of South Sudan both interior and exterior for South Sudan to become a member of East African Community without proper consultations among citizens and general population by Mr. Salva Kiir. The popularization of membership is not understood by many in Juba update but, only few government officials who ‘’take law into their hands’’ in Juab, South Sudan. The question is; is South Sudan Qualified to join East African Community? South Sudan cannot qualify because poor leadership and bad governance, underdeveloped, and Mr. Salva Kiir is underachiever since 2005-2016.

The answer is big ‘’No’’ due to so many reasons and so many calamities for my country not to join East African Community at very critical time we are now in South Sudan for the implementation of peace agreement signed last year by Mr. Salva Kiir and Mr. Riek Machar in order to stopped the bloodshed  in the country. General Salva Kiir Mayardit, a ‘’man who is the state and the state is him’’

The Good Governance:

The Good governance is an indeterminate term used in international development literature to describe how public institutions conduct public affairs and manage public resources. Governance is “the process of decision-making and the process by which decisions are implemented (or not implemented)”according to World Bank. South Sudan does not have any single institutions which deal with human rights abuses. Citizens are not allowing permits to express their views on issues within the country. Rule of law, good governance, human rights, independent judiciary and separation of powers within the government institutions in Juba.  President Musveni just fooling the people of South Sudan for the membership of South Sudan. What are the benefits of South Sudan for amalgamation EAC? Will the citizens’ benefits in those members? South Sudan is not qualified for EAC.  Citizens of South Sudan are not happy about South Sudan membership of East African Community because nothing is there for us. Why Mr. Salva Kiir is is rushing? Perhaps hidden agenda behind.

What is vaulting ambition for Mr. Museveni in South Sudan?  As Public Administrator, the vaulting ambition for Mr. Museveni is South Sudan’s oil.  My President Kiir who cannot see that reason behind. I think Mr. Salva Kiir is counterinsurgency because is military background man according to his history in South Sudan. South Sudan need good leaders with fresh ideas not the leaders we have now in Juba, South Sudan. ‘’When a leader is too deformed it is too hard to reform that leader’’ This is what happening in my country, South Sudan. Let me hope God choose for us a leader who will be ‘’independent minded person’’

Economy:

The wealth and resources of a country or region, especially in terms of the production and consumption of goods and services consumption of goods and services. The South Sudan is a country on earth which cannot produce anything, even single factory of Water is not there in Juba and Kiir is submitted South Sudan already into East African Community without analyzing what will happened next in future.  Resources of my country, South Sudan will be explored by those with hung Degrees in East African Community and will come to take over every single job in South Sudan.  Kiir will be remembering by his exaggeration for South Sudanese.  South Sudan with hung graduates with hung unemployed.

Unemployment is killing youth in South Sudan, because most of youth are just taking tea in Juba town due to unemployed. Kiir does not have proper policy in pension, no retirement aged, no good policy for public services and however, no middle income generating for the local citizens in Juba, South Sudan.

The 6 members including Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.

The East African Community’s current urban population stands at about 20%

Country Population GDP (PPP)
(Billions of $US)
GDP (Nominal)
(Billions of $US)
Literacy(%)
1.  Burundi 10,742,276 7.883 2.97 85.6
2.  Kenya 45,925,301 143.1 63.12 78
3.  Rwanda 12,661,733 20.32 8.468 70.5
4.  South Sudan 12,042,910 22.46 12.88 27
5.  Tanzania 51,045,882 138.3 46.19 70.6
6.  Uganda 37,101,745 79.75 22.94 78.4
East African Community 169,519,847 411.813 158.568 68.35

In conclusion; South Sudan need fresh leaders who can think about the future of its citizens and the entire country.  Young people should up so that they can build South Sudan into next level.
