"We the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, with so little, for so long, we are now qualified to do anything, with nothing" By Konstantin Josef Jireček, a Czech historian, diplomat and slavist.

April 18, 2016 (SSB)  —-  It may sound to you it is like the same night drum but for sure one thing is certain in every life, what affects ones directly will affect the other indirectly and the reverse is true! What is happening in Rumbek today, is taken as their own problem but it is everybody’s problem for real. Whether I am heard or not at all, one-time dog was very rich and it happens the day they had a very big party, he ate until he passes the reasonable level of satisfaction, the dog convince itself that the way I am satisfied today, I will never need any more food again in my life. The dog decides to set its house on fire, a morning later a dog woke with a lot of hunger and the everything was burn to ashes, the dog start running up and down looking for left overs in the trash. There was nothing until today.

In few lines, I will want to remind leaders of South Sudan, this Rumbek has done everything good for South Sudan of today. Well even unborn babies, know how much it cost Rumbek to have South Sudan today, Rumbek shed blood for South Sudan, Rumbek cultivated crops for South Sudan, Rumbek contributed goats and cows for South Sudan, Rumbek hosted South Sudanese in their private bushes and cared for them. It is the same Rumbek that is set on fire and made a Laughing matter. NO! BIG NO! I will not keep quiet until something is done to solve the situation Rumbek is in now.

We have shed enough blood but not anymore. We are all aware of the implications of social injustices and there is a high need for it to be address now or else it will harm all of us. 100s of complains about disarmament in Western Lakes have accumulated in the central government but no action, could there be any chance that people setting Rumbek on fire will take over their belongings or has it come as increased in hatred and struggle for power that people of Rumbek are kept busy burying their dead and have no time to come and line up for power recognition? If it is any of these, it does not make sense to punish the civil society for the crime they have not committed, I hold the government of South Sudan responsible for death of 1000s Agar people of Rumbek on gun fire every day, too much of something is nothing!

I thought Ateny Wek was real when he promises to have taken the letter of complain about what had happened today few weeks ago, if you may have filed it with the job application letters, kindly don’t just scroll my todays message, take it like those peace documents that you keep checking for update every minute. We also deserve peace.
