Governor Gregory Deng Kuac urged Apuk and Aguok communities to embrace Peace, Unity and Forgiveness

January 14, 2017 (SSB) — The New Governor of Gogrial state Hon. Maj. Gen. Gregory Deng Kuac Aduol has urged the Apuk and Aguok communities to preach culture of peace, Unity and forgiveness among the people of Gogrial state.
The Governor made the call for unity and peace during his arrival to Kuacjok freedom square yesterday on 12th January 2017. Governor Deng who was company by high level delegation from the NLA, MPs State Ministers and Communities elders has assured the crowd that his government will bring everlasting peace to the people of Gogrial state and greater Bahr el Ghazal as well.
The government must sensitizes the communities by informing them that the return of disarmament exercise should not be taken as a point of tension again. The people should be capable to forgive and reconcile because the future of south Sudan lies in reconciliation and forgiveness he further said without peace Governor Kuac explained, there will be no nation building and instead killing will ensure unabated and thus called for thought that saved lives and destruction.
Governor Deng assure the crowd that he will make sure to sign an MOU with the people of China, and other donors to develop the state capital since it is time for building the nation.
He call the citizen to cooperate to allow the development process which will commence in six (6) months’ time. he argue the youth of Gogrial to open a new page for developmental issues as he is ready to well come the ideas of the Nation building.
