February 22, 2017 (SSB) — Your Excellency, the Governor of western Lakes state (Rumbek), it is utmost pleasure and Honor to devote my preference to your leadership in state regarding upgrading Long awaited #paloc Administrative area into #paloc county (in Rumbek).

I took this opportunity in favor of peace, unity and National Dialogue that was announced in our country. We need to build a strong Nation and peaceful co-existence South Sudan, a Nation of forgiveness, peace, love and national unity towards great diversity of our country.

As president put it in his last remarks, we need to put aside all our dragging differences and joint hands in hands to work for peace and unity in our country/states. The call for peace and Dialogue is not just only for those who have taken armed against leadership of the country, but also to those who identify themselves being oppressed not to lead/rule in their administrative states and counties.

Federalism is an absolute route for those South Sudanese who identify themselves being oppressed. We need to uphold all mistakes of other Governors who are addict to their leadership practices by ruling state under tribal base lines, hatred, nepotism and tribalism to mention are messing and denying other people’s rights.

There is right for Federalism in South Sudan, though it is not details in transitional constitution of South Sudan, many of our citizens (South Sudanese) are yarning for Federation in self-governing manner for many years back.

The presidential Order No. 36 that created 28 and 32-states in South Sudan has given people demands of self-governing.  More states are on like Luany-Jang and Raja states while these communities are demanding for their self-governing rule.

There are minor tribes in South Sudan which were ruled under despotic regimes since British and Khartoum colonial Era, these communities are being denied to leadership participatory and appointment to some local administrative areas. As such, it is high time since we all need

Federation and self-governing states and counties of our own. #paloc communities of #Paloc County are example of those who were subjected to silence and ignorance since and after Lakes state exists. We have patience enough and there are dooms politicians and youth who have hanged against us; especially [Aliam-toc one & two] were the most untrustworthy, they have oppressed and hanged on us while denying our fate of self-governing rule.

We knew all sub conditions that led paloc to formation of a #Administrative area, it is through them. Good enough, Governor Makoi made his last decree with deaf ears from oppressors and those denying our county to exist. I hope the defeat and final end has finished from dooms politicians. Nothing will combine us if there are existence of 28 & 32-states, and I hope no dissolution and revoking.

The poor and grasped leadership in both Aliam-toc is out emerged for all decades that we have endured with type of community whom we don’t expect to share bread with. We have genuinely dropped our differences in leadership regimes of Rumbek

Governor. I was among all those who usually opposed and expressed their views that Makoi is a kind of nepotism and tribal leader that does not seek {listen} to his [people].

Therefore, I am sincerely expressing my openness that, politics is a game of interest! Understand public demands without differences. I dropped all my opposite side in you and requesting peace and unity to prevail in eleventh 11-counties of Rumbek. Wishing good cooperation to all commissioners appointed.

In conclusion, I will allow myself in next edition to briefly highlight on status of Paloc County, population status, social and economic viability and cultural norms with good neighboring counties.

I am optimistic that peace is all what we are looking for in Rumbek. I salute to rest my opinion.
