Fighting Erupts at Magenis, Upper Nile, between Riek’s and Gatwech’s Forces

The forces loyal to the former Chairman Dr Riek Machar, have attacked Magenis (kitgwang) HQs right now. The mightiest Force all under command of the interim Chairman and Commander in Chief, Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual, has heavily confronted them. The forces of the former chairman Dr Riek Machar, have been totally annihilated in Kit Gwang HQs, and we are in hot pursuit. Their 55 Tank and BM have been captured in good condition. SPLA-IO Viva!

This morning at around 7:00AM, Central African Time, heavy fighting has been on at Magenis (Kit-Gwang) GHQs.
The forces loyal to the former Chairman Dr Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon, have attacked Magenis (Kit-Gwang) GHQs, after they had received their naive orders from the so called acting Chief, Gabriel Duop Lam, who falsely misled the innocent army to capture the Chairman and Commander in Chief (C.in.C) Gen Simon Gatwech Dual, at Magenis, along with his senior commanders.
But as a result, the mightest Forces of the SPLA (IO) under Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual, heavily responded to the attackers and completely annihilated them.
During the action, Twenty Eight (28) were left dead from the enemy side and four from the freedom fighters and Thirty Two (32) soldiers are captured lives but all of them are in our custody. Moreover, we have also captured T-55 Tank, Three (3) Toyota land cruiser in good condition (1) BM-12, (1) Recoil (Rocket laucher) (1) 12.7 mounted on Land cruiser.(15) PKM Machine guns, (33) AK-47 were captured all in good condition. Out of these, (1) Zuu-23 has been destroyed.
This unprovoked attack on civilians areas warrants severe and merciless retaliation as we are in pursuit now. SPLA-(IO) Viva!

SPLM-IO-Juba: For Immediate Release, 07/08/2021: THE KITGWANG FORCE CHOOSE WAR OVER PEACE
This morning the 7/08/2021 at about 6:30AM, the anti peace forces of Gen. Simon Gatwech Dual moved out of their trenches in Magenis and launched an aggressive attacks against the SPLA-IO forces in Gezan.
The SPLA-IO forces responded in self-defence and repulsed the aggressors back to Magenis killing two Major Generals and over 27 enemy soldiers.
The SPLA-IO force destroyed one APC, Zuu 23 and 14.5mm, and also captured one Ural mounted with Zuu 23, and over 20 Ak47.
The enemy forces destroyed one 107mm while one tank T55 developed mechanical problem. Three(3) freedom fighters were killed in action and 13 others sustained gunshot wounds.
The SPLA-IO is aware that Gen. Gatwech Dual and Lt. Gen. Johnson Ulony were evacuated to Sudan.
The SPLA-IO leadership request the Sudan Government to maintain its neutrality by keeping the two in Sudan and not to allow them come back and cause more insecurity in the area.
The SPLA-IO also calls upon the forces that were conditioned to join the Kitgwang elements to come back to the SPLA-IO under the leadership of H.E Dr Riek Machar TenyStay tune for more details

“Malual Gahoth Town”
Malual Gahoth Town is historical in the history of the libeberation struggle of the People of South Sudan. This is the town where SPLM/SPLA launched the first war of Liberation on November 17, 1983. The operation in November 17, 1983 was launched by none other than Commander Salva Kiir Mayardit the current President of the Republic of South Sudan.
Today, August 9, 2021, in the same historical town, three senior Major Generals declared their decision to return to the National Army, the South Sudan People’s Defence Force (SSPDF) and Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), our rightful place, under the Leadership of His Excellency General Salva Kiir Mayardit, the President of the Republic of South Sudan and Chairman of SPLM.
The three Major Generals headed by Major General James Khor Chuol Giet the Deputy Sector 3 Commander decided to leave the family company, SPLM/SPLA (IO) of despot, corrupt, tribalist and nepotist Leader Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon and his wife Angelina Jany Teny.
Major General James Khor Chuol Giet, Deputy Sector 3 Commander, together with Major General Kang Riek Diew and Major General Lol Nguoth Chom made this historical move from the historical town “Malual Gahoth”.
General Khor stated “I am declaring my return to the Government under His Excellency President Kiir under the historical tree, the Fig Tree (Ngop) and Presidemt Kiir should be proud of that because he knows this Fig Tree very well in Malual Gahoth”.
