war

February 5, 2017 (SSB) —- Good experience and bad experience move altogether in human life. You don’t expect to be happy all the time and Vice Versa. You don’t wish to be left behind by your age mates so that you are cited as an example of failure in a society. Any of your decisions have to be in line with the situation of that very circumstance.

There are other situations whereby anyone can simply subject him/herself into a certain mayhem which will later amount to desperation and an unprecedented choice. It’s very important to take a decision with clarity of mind in order to avoid a blame of others or avoid missing the best opportunities in life.

As a result of group influence and wrong path, the living example is the current situation of our country whereby the rebellion was declared without considering the repercussions of it on the country significant installations, civilian’s lives and public properties. Commonly, the motive was just to cling to power and the exaggerated competition over who should manage the country affairs without weighing the venom of the country economic viability.

January 20, 2017 (SSB) — Unity is the only social fabric that cemented the community values and supremacy all over the world. The ongoing misunderstanding, disunity and confusion among the Greater Bor Dinka community should not continue to be ignored by the community leaders, elders, intellectuals and religious leaders till it goes beyond our control. The community leaders should be consistently engaged with the local populations in a move to resolve contentious issues affecting community in one way or another.

In reflecting the community history, our honesty, loyalty, peacemaking, integrity and above all, our unity has constantly remained unquestionable. Over centuries, we had been together in solidarity over many issues of concern in our community, and altogether, we had managed to live with our volatile neighbors and it is only of recent, our people started introducing new technics of hatred which is perceived to be politically motived.

December 1, 2016 (SSB) — Around the globe there are many different ranks in the army. The ranks that a person obtained, depends on different aspects. For those who have recently enlisted in the army and didn’t receive any military training, the opportunity to command others becomes helter-skelter pretention.

In fact, the true and professional way of entering into the army, must take into accounts rules of engagement, usually you get trained as Privates and continue with systematic ranking based on your performances. The top rank in the army is a General however, only a few officers can manage to reach that level of the rank considering the global ranking systems and in some parts of the world, it is myriad.

The exact ranking that an enlisted person receives is usually based on the number of years they have served, on any promotions that they have obtained, as well as any college hours that they have completed. The more years served, the more promotions that a person has, and the more college hours that they have completed will of course contribute towards a higher ranking.

Ngundeng Bong

The 19th century Lou Nuer Prophet, Ngundeng Bong

November 23, 2016 (SSB) —- Misperception, wrong ideas, illiteracy and misleading prophecies have harmed South Sudan to fall into this situation in which cannibalism is the order of the day and you cannot share ideas or trust your fellow countrymen or women to do anything in return for togetherness for nation building. We will never achieve the needy peace and truth healing and reconciliation if we don’t trust ourselves and belief in our country progress.

To start with, the illusive prophecy has harmed our unity and the prosperity of our country from measures of consolidation repeatedly highlighted about the man who had been highly rated in the crime records of South Sudan “Ngundeng Bong” over centuries. The courtesy of the men who are claiming Ngundeng prophecies to derail people of south Sudan into senseless war over the years, is a doom illusionist that will never disappear in the history of worshippers of traditional prophecy and doom prophets.
