Dear Junubins.
The new culture of extension for Presidential office on your doors even the future presidents will follow the tactical move. Are we blindfolded by tribalism or we put the personal’s interests before the nation?Just to point out few.

Last year the president threatened parliamentarians using a strong term “wandering in street” if they vetted out the then designed Speaker, unfortunately the parliamentarians shied away from president without even summoned him to explain himself why he was interfered in vetting process.2nd, the president brought in mercenaries from Uganda without parliament knowledge though was a right thing to do for the safety of Juba.
Is president powerful than parliament?3rd, when the Dr Riek has declared his rebellion in Bentiu on December 18, the parliament failed to questioned president either country should go for war or is there any other avenues to solving the fate.

4th, when the president sacked the governors and no election “within 60 days” ! The parliament failed to challenged the president’s decision to explain to the public what were the “imminently dangers” which were facing that particular States and resulted in their sacking, and why no States’ elections or when?

Parliamentarians are driving by 4 things:

> tribal adherence.
>fear of their lives .
> aiming for higher positions directly from president.
>lost of job (e.g Mach Paul’s gone ).
>risking of their careers.
5th, the main point now, president announced the extension of his office for 2-3 years without parliament knowledge and parliamentarians are keeping quite so that they should not be “labeled as rebels” which is a threat term for silencing the outspoken people.Who/department should extend the presidency term between president himself and the parliament due to the circumstances ?

6th, to the public, should we have to keep quiet for extension of president office for 2-3 or we must act now ?

When the current constitution drafted, it’s bypassing us in board daylight “without objections” and is facing us now together with John Lok Jok though the constitution has been putted in abeyance by President.

Can we do something about the extension of president office around the world? Majority have no problem with whoever he could nominate when his term expired to led to next election whereby he can still to re-contesting his presidency seat but not in office.
