March 22, 2018 (SSB) — I write this open letter in response to the most unfortunate incendiary allegations widely circulated by Hon. Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth and register my utmost disgust and dismay at the allegations posited against my person and circulated to all and sundry with the sole purpose of tarnishing my name.

For starters, it is a fact that is within public domain that my father in law, the late Gen. Andrew Makur Thou has been ailing and was hospitalized in Khartoum. My visit to Sudan was made public from the day I arrived. It is quite unfortunate that you chose to take advantage of this most unfortunate event when we are mourning the passing on of a gallant South Sudanese elder who is also my father in law to spin rhetoric from your very narrow political lenses.

Just to put matters into proper perspective, upon learning of the death of Gen. Makur, the 1st Vice President and Prime Minister of Sudan, H.E. Bakri Hassan Saleh while accompanied by the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff General, Engineer, Emad Edeen Mustafa Adawi and his deputy paid us a courtesy call at Gen. Andrew Makur’s residence in Khartoum to condole with the family.

March 22, 2018 (SSB) — South Sudanese audible gadgets are readily connected into the cracking wall of inquiry in an effort to take notice of what happened and what will happen to the Third Phase of HLRF peace talk.

With many wondering whether the talk is going to be resumed in the same city of Addis Ababa the Amharic word for new flower or could the deep silence leads to the formation of new house roof is the puzzle kit that has been left on the doorway of every South Sudanese.

Our living God has given us all the instructions on how we can go on with our earthly stay; the creator instructed mankind in the books of Mathew 7:7”Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you’’ and in Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

March 22, 2018 (SSB) — The sixty-four (64) tribes in South Sudan must have roles and common agendas for peace, security, public rest and development. The community role for peace and development takes lack of high scales about our environment because what do we have as the community to resolve war issues? But our vulnerability imposed severely today-tomorrow consequences of conflict.

I was much interested in local community initiatives and community conceptions of conflict resolutions which may later lead to conflict prevention and conflict mitigation. For today role of communities in peace and security upholding benefits in the developmental sector for all sixty-four tribes because there will be no more insecurity that may threaten development.

On other views, communities are multi-sectorial dimensions that will help the government address domestic environment, economic inequalities, and prevent defaming state sovereignty from different structure forms from global, regional, and other warning cross-cuttings.

March 22, 2018 (SSB) — In our long-delayed independence, the never-ending suffering of the people of South Sudan was achieved through withstanding a horrible experience. This was something many weren’t prepared to confront, but leaders were wholeheartedly realized, even by very young people.

There are men and women who have experienced excruciating pain, difficulties, and so forth, but they never gave up serving the people in the middle of indescribable suffering, especially among the children. Some of us didn’t even know what the war, that brought so much suffering, was all about until later years.

As is oftentimes stated, a child can differentiate between those who care and those who could care less. In the middle of the mess, women, children, and elderly can only depend on the real one—a leader meant to stand tall in the middle of an unbearable storm of chaos and sorrow.
